WHERE DO YOU PROVIDE SERVICES?
I provide walk-and-talk services around the Brevard area. The path is flat & paved.
I have a beautiful office located in a historic building in downtown Brevard, NC.
I prefer to provide in person sessions, It gives me a better clinical picture when I can observe your body language and non-verbal cues. For individuals I can accommodate telehealth therapy sessions as needed, or a hybrid approach. In person sessions are required for couples therapy.
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
I am contracted with the following insurance networks:
Medicare

United Healthcare

Blue Cross and Blue Shield
AmeriHealth Caritas
Healthy Blue Medicaid - starting 8/15/2024
Please note, there are some insurance coverage limitations to walk-and-talk service locations. We will discuss billing and payment options at intake as we determine your treatment needs and level of care desired.
WHAT IF YOU ARE NOT IN NETWORK WITH MY INSURANCE?
If I am not in network with your insurance provider, you will be responsible to pay the full fee per session. I am able to provide you with a reciept in order to attempt for you to be reimbursed. However, I cannot garuntee reimbursement from your insurance provider.
WHAT ARE YOUR SESSION FEES?
The individual therapy session rate is $135 for 55 minutes.
The couples therapy session rate is $200 for 55 minutes.
Intake sessions are billed at a higher rate due to increased time commitment and administrative tasks.
Intake sessions are billed at a rate of $225 for 75 minutes.
I have a limited number of sliding scale slots available as well. Sliding scale is based on financial need.
ARE WE A GOOD FIT?
I believe in finding the right therapist for each client and the right client for each therapist. By taking the time to find a "good fit," together we can accelerate growth and allow ourselves to do our best work.
Please consider the following screening checklist that I have prepared for my practice. It helps me make sure I can logistically do my best work as I juggle parenthood and supporting my clients.

You are looking for regular and consistent appointments - weekly or biweekly.
You might not be a good fit if:

You have high acuity needs upon intake. I am not currently able to accommodate clients who are actively experiencing suicidality or psychosis. I do not have the availability at this time to provide adequate treatment for this level of acuity without sacrificing the care of the client.

You are experiencing active domestic violence or abuse in your relationship.

Disordered eating, process addiction, or ADHD are your primary concerns.
